Our nursery and growing grounds sit on the Quin Road just outside Ennis, County Clare. We are primarily an online garden centre, but we welcome visitors by appointment. If you are in the area, call ahead and we will be delighted to show you our polytunnels full of native Irish wildflowers, our seed-drying rooms, and our trial meadow plots where we test every mix we sell.
County Clare is the perfect location for a native wildflower nursery. The Burren, just north of us, is one of the most extraordinary botanical landscapes in Europe, home to a unique assembly of Arctic-alpine and Mediterranean plants growing side by side on ancient limestone pavement. This landscape inspires everything we do and informs every wild gardening recommendation we make to customers in Dublin, Galway, Wicklow and beyond.
Our fulfilment centre near the Greater Dublin Area handles all shipments, ensuring fast delivery across Ireland. Orders placed before 2pm on weekdays are typically dispatched the same day, with next-day delivery available in Dublin, Clare and Galway. All 32 counties receive orders within 2–3 working days.

The Garden of Ireland deserves wild natives too. We have specific advice for Wicklow's acidic mountain soils, sheltered valleys and coastal edges. Our wild heather and bog cotton collections are favourites in Wicklow gardens.
From Kerry to Donegal, we understand the challenges and rewards of Atlantic coastal gardening. Our Coastal Native Collection features salt-tolerant sea thrift, sea campion, kidney vetch and wild thyme that thrive in exposed positions.
All orders ship in recyclable, plastic-free packaging. Plug plants travel in biodegradable trays with moisture-retaining wraps. Seeds are packed in compostable paper envelopes. Your wild garden starts sustainably from the moment you open the box.
One of the things that sets Wild Irish Bloom apart from other garden retailers is that we genuinely want to help you succeed. Every member of our team has their hands in soil daily. Our senior horticulturist has over fifteen years of experience restoring native wildflower meadows across the west of Ireland. Our ecologist has surveyed habitats from the Burren to the Bog of Allen.
When you contact us for advice, you are not speaking to a call centre. You are connecting with people who live and breathe Irish wild gardening. We have helped first-time gardeners in Dublin 8 transform a neglected concrete yard into a thriving pollinator corner. We have guided farmers in east Galway through converting field margins to native wildflower strips under ACRES environmental schemes. We have advised schools in Limerick on creating outdoor wild classrooms.
Our advice covers everything from soil preparation and native wildflower seed selection to seasonal maintenance, no-dig methods, peat-free growing media, wildlife habitat placement and long-term rewilding strategy. We take into account your specific Irish microclimate, whether that means the mild, damp air of Kerry, the sharp limestone drainage of the Burren, the heavy clay of the midlands, or the exposed salt winds of the Donegal coast.
This service is completely free. We believe that every conversation about wild gardening in Ireland moves us closer to a landscape where native species reclaim their rightful place and biodiversity flourishes from garden to garden, townland to townland.
